The issue of my personal identity as artist is controversial to me. I have been looking and finding parallel ways
to express my internal fluctuations and bursts combining different media
according to the core concept/idea or vice-versa.
In my installations I found inspiration in the mechanical
process of mixing different media with an emphasis on fibers, plaster, clay and
found objects. My work revolves around the idea that identity or form having not
a fast or a clear answer, but more a continuous process of transformation and
metamorphosis highlighting the dramatic transition through the process of
physical and spiritual changes.
Often my work focuses on making the human state visible placing my self as a mirror reflecting spiritual and psychological circumstances of this state. Then what I create is nothing but a reflection of controversial themes that often become voided and the “VOID” becomes the subject itself.
